Reflective thinking

It's hard to believe that this is the start of my 6th week here at Swansea Met. These first few weeks of uni have been great, I've made new friends and settled down into the routine of lectures. I've found all the lecturers to be very helpful and the lectures interesting and engaging, the readings i have been given in lectures have also been interesting and have made me think about the educational system. I've learned many new things about education in these first few weeks and I am looking forward to learning more. Being at uni I have found is a lot different from college, one of the biggest changes I have found is that now the study is so much more independent. In college we were told all the information we need and everything was layed out for us, here we have to find out for ourselves, do our own research and read around the subject. I am enjoying the course so far and am looking forward to the rest of it.
